What is it?
The eaver is a semi-aquatic rodent that uses its large incisors to chew down trees and shrubs, constructing dams that create large pools of water used as escape cover from predators.

Beavers provide numerous ecosystem benefits, storing vast amounts of water, thus slowing down water and helping to mitigate flash flooding, by increasing fresh water storage this also helps to reducing sediment loading,adjusting stream flow & temperature, including improving salmon and fish spawning habitat while also transforming the landscape to benefit other wildlife.

Beavers are a keystone species, and if managed harmoniously between people & nature, can store vast amounts of water. Municipal, government & other allies of nature-based solutions.
